Director, Information & Marketing Architecture
Tim has presented regionally and nationally on topics surrounding social media, marketing and branding and has worked with some of the country’s top brands throughout his career. As a content marketer, he specializes in building communications and marketing strategies for Fourth Economy and its clients. Tim is a graphic designer, web developer, copywriter, strategist, and social marketer all rolled into one. In addition to creative content, Tim also provides economic development grant writing and strategy to clients, and has worked with regional, state and national clients to secure operational and structural funding.
In a prior role, Tim oversaw all aspects of marketing and communications efforts for the Pittsburgh Technology Council, focusing primarily on electronic media and strategic communications as the Director of Marketing. In addition, he was responsible for project management of the Council’s new Web site, dedicated to highlighting membership benefits, member profiles, case studies, new products and added services. Strategic planning, brand development and marketing partnership relations were additional areas of Tim’s responsibility. While at the PTC, he developed other viral marketing media, including social marketing channels, blogs and interactive networking groups. His communication plans helped earn the Council national awards and recognition for their electronic communications campaigns.
